The Bar Association is pleased to welcome a new guest speaker for Law Day on Monday, April 28, 2014: Deputy Assistant Attorney General Pamela S. Karlan. Appointed by the President on January 13, 2014, Deputy Assistant Attorney General Karlan's primary focus is reviewing the work of the Civil Rights Division's Voting and Employment Litigation Sections.
While we are sorry the Associate Attorney General cannot join us due to a last minute scheduling conflict, Deputy Assistant Attorney General Karlan is perfectly situated to address this year's Law Day theme: "American Democracy and the Rule of Law: Why Every Vote Matters." Registration ends tonight, April 23, at midnight, so please register today.
